Phillip Glennon remembered

My Dad, Philip Glennon, and his brother Peter both attended Xaverian, early to mid 50s rather than the 60s. My Dad was extremely proud of his time there, where by all accounts he seemed to excel on the football field as well as academically.
He went on to Manchester University to study Law. He married my mum, Marie, in 1966 and together they had 9 children and 11 grandchildren.
Dad passed away at the weekend, aged 81, after suffering from vascular dementia for the past ten years following a stroke. I felt it right to reach out to his college.

I offer you my condolences to you and all the Glennon family on hearing this sad news. I didn’t know your dad as I am only 76. But I did know of your uncle Peter who also was more than a decent footballer. May your dad rest in peace.
